Ayesha appeared on the Call her Daddy podcast over three months ago and spoke about not being ready for marriage while dating Steph. The statements backfired on Mrs. Curry as she received widespread criticism on the internet.
Popular celebrity psychologist, Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, was on Club Shay Shay and spoke about the backlash Ayesha faced for her statements.
When a woman speaks out against the societal norms of a woman being domesticated, or being a wife, or being a mama, then she sounds ungrateful for having this wonderful husband who’s providing and taking care of her because that is most women’s dream.
Bryant felt like she relates to Ayesha:
There are other women like myself, right, and probably her too, from what she said, that their dreams are not limited to a position of a wife or mother and to just being this person’s wife.

It is unfortunate that Ayesha had to go through so much criticism but being the wife of such a big star does have its consequences. Meanwhile, Curry has been supportive of her and never commented anything negative about his better half.

A little over three months ago, Ayesha spoke on the Call Her Daddy podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, about her expectations before marrying the four-time NBA champion.
I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married. I thought I was going to be a ‘career girl,’ and that’s it. He’s so gracious. He tries to resonate with me. But he just can’t. He also comes from a place where it’s stupid.
She described herself at the time of her marriage as a “naive, very young, unpolished 22-year-old” who lacked life experience.
While social media trolled and criticized her for her comments and thought she put their marriage in jeopardy, they has shown that all is good in the Curry camp after multiple public appearances and celebrations.
Stephen Curry tries to keep the Warriors afloat this season
It has been a tough start to the season for Curry and the Warriors. While the Dubs have won their last two games on the road in the absence of their star player, they are currently placed at eighth in the Western Conference standings with a 13-12 record.

Curry has been more or less his usual self as he is averaging 27.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and four assists this season. But the team has struggled defensively in big games.
Head coach, Steve Kerr, spoke about Curry’s injury and is likely to make a comeback on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves after a four-day break.
Steve Kerr said reports about Steph Curry’s progress from the thigh contusion have been positive. He said “it’s realistic” that Curry will return next Friday at home vs Timberwolves. Warriors have four days off after this road back-to-back.

While everything appears to be fine for Curry off the court, things do not look promising for the two-time league MVP on the court as the Warriors try to make it to the playoffs.
