The WWE Universe was left shocked in the latest episode of Raw as Chad Gable brutally attacked Sami Zayn after their match. They wanted answers about why the leader of the Alpha Academy took this step. Now, the 38-year-old has finally broken the silence about his betrayal on social media. 

Chad Gable went to X and explained what was going through his mind after he attacked Sami Zayn. He said that anybody in his situation would’ve done the same. Seeing Zayn complete his dream at the Show of Shows instead of him, Gable snapped and attacked him after his loss.

After The Underdog from the Underground pulled off an upset by defeating Gunther at WrestleMania XL, Gable had his eyes set on it. He had a history with The Ring General, as he couldn’t beat him for the title after three attempts. After their win over the Imperium, Zayn allowed him to fight for the title on the latest episode of Raw. The 39-year-old overcame the challenge laid out by the Alpha Academy leader and retained the title.

Sami Zayn has found a formidable opponent in the form of heel Chad Gable. It will be interesting to see what the reaction of other members of the Alpha Academy will be after their leader’s betrayal. Furthermore, fans are eager to hear from the I.C. Champion’s side next week.

After Gable turned on Zayn, the entire WWE Universe was in shock. However, one WWE superstar quite enjoyed the new side of the leader of the Alpha Academy and expressed his honest opinions on social media. The name in question is Bronson Reed.

He took to X and reshared WWE’s post about the 38-year-old’s betrayal of the I.C. Champion, and he reacted in quite an unusual way. The Aus-zilla was quite amused by his betrayal and just sent a laughing reaction with an emoji. It seemed like he had been waiting for this occasion for a long time. He is on a roll with his recent Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal victory.
