The Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was pretty serious when he announced that he wouldn’t be returning to the locker room ahead of the second half in the Christmas game. He has plans to tune in on the field to watch pop icon Beyonce’s grand halftime show, just like the audience.
Given the seriousness on the quarterback’s face, while announcing his unconventional plans, he hasn’t received quite a positive response from the fans who labeled him “irresponsible.” As the discussion led to Shannon Sharpe’s prominent Nightcap show, Chad Johnson clarified Jackson’s words for the audience.
When he was asked to share his thoughts on Jackson potentially missing the crucial locker room time in the halftime over a performance by Beyonce on Christmas; Johnson assured fans and the Nightcap host that the Ravens signal-caller was trolling and nothing else.
Let it me known that Lamar Jackson WILL be watching Beyonce at halftime on Christmas Day.

The NFL legend emphasized that there’s not even a possibility that players would distract themselves with halftime shows since coaches instill this belief that it’s for fans only while for the players, the game is the utmost priority.
Shannon Sharpe praises Lamar Jackson’s priorities amid halftime show comments
After Johnson cleared out the misinterpretation of Jackson’s words, the quarterback received immense praise from sports analyst Sharpe. While expressing his confidence in the two-time NFL MVP’s understanding of priorities, Sharpe praised him for being savvy enough to understand this, especially to feed his hunger for the Super Bowl.
The playful banter of the halftime show was observed after a long time in the All-Pro quarterback, who has been determined to prove himself in the competitive league and ensure his status in future Hall of Fame.
