In a recent conversation with NFL commentator Shannon Sharpe, the former wide receiver shared his thoughts on his previous wedding plans.

In an episode of Nightcap, hosts Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson discussed a couple who allegedly canceled their honeymoon after receiving less-than-expected contributions from wedding guests. The couple had spent around sixty thousand dollars on their wedding but received only three thousand in gifts, far below their expectations.

This led Johnson and Sharpe to discuss the high costs of weddings in the U.S. today, prompting Johnson to make a declaration: he is resuming his plans to get married in February—though the bride is yet to be determined.
