One does not flirt with Channing Crowder‘s wife, Aja Crowder. Even if that person is none other than music superstar Drake.
On April 8th, the 37-year-old rapper finally landed in Memphis to continue his All a Bliss Tour—Big As The What? The concert, which was supposed to take place back in January, got pushed back to April without J. Cole.
Crowder attended the event with his wife Aja and a few of his friends. When the concert was in full flow, the former Miami Dolphins linebacker noticed Drake was pointing at the VIP suite which he was in.
The 40-year-old former LB later shared a video of the moment on social media, which indicates that Drake was perhaps trying to hit on her.
The green right there—fine as hell.Drake can be heard saying
Aja was wearing a green top with white short jeans. So clearly, the comment was aimed at her. Now it’s unclear whether Crowder took that as a compliment or was offended that someone else was trying to flirt with his wife. However, his reaction hinted that he wasn’t too thrilled.
Man, hell with him. I'm not worried about Drake. I will see Drake in the parking lot.Channing Crowder said
Crowder’s wife made a futile effort to calm her husband down. Later on, sharing this whole ordeal via X, Crowder also took pot shot at Drake and his ongoing feuds with rappers Future and Metro.
Who is Channing Crowder?
Born in Pennsylvania, Crowder attended the University of Florida and represented the Gators in college football. He is the son of a former Dolphins defensive lineman Randy Crowder from the 1970s. While playing for the Gators, he bagged All-Freshman titles, including AP’s First Team All-Secondary in 2003 and ESPN’s First Team All-American in 2004.

After finishing his college career, Crowder followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Miami franchise in 2005 as a third-round pick.
The 40-year-old went to play for six seasons at Hard Rock Stadium. In 2011, when the Dolphins released Crowder, he abruptly announced his retirement from football. However, a year later, he revealed his desire to return to the gridiron once again, but that never happened.
During his tenure with the Dolphins, Crowder played 82 games, starting 74. He registered 470 tackles. 2.5 sacks, forced 3 fumbles, and 19 pass deflections.
Since hanging up his boots, Crowder has dived into the world of media. He was part of Brandon Marshall‘s I Am Athlete podcast and is currently one of the three hosts of The Pivot Podcast, along with Ryan Clark and Fred Taylor.
