In the series against the Denver Nuggets, the defending NBA champions, the Minnesota Timberwolves jumped off to a dominant 2-0 lead. In addition, the NBA Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley is now certain that the Timberwolves will sweep Denver by winning their next two games in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been playing exceptionally well against the Denver Nuggets. Charles Barkley has been in awe of their performance against the Nuggets in game 2. He made a bold statement recently on the NBA on TNT show.

Anthony Edwards has been at the forefront of all the action against the Denver Nuggets. Barkley also praised Edwards’ determination and claimed that he is the one who will play an important role in knocking out the Nuggets in the playoffs. Also, The Hall of Famer acknowledged that he had not been a fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves before the season, but that he had now come around.

It remains to be seen whether or not Barkley turns out to be right in the next 2 games. However, for the Denver Nuggets to prove Barkley’s words wrong, they will have to give it their all if they were to qualify for the next round of the NBA playoffs.

Charles Barkley heaps praise towards Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards was at his absolute best in game 1 of the NBA playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. In game one, Anthony Edwards scored a career-high 43 points to help the Nuggets lose 106-99. This performance left many analysts and sports presenters stunned.

One of them is the NBA Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley. After being enthralled with Ant-Man’s performance, Barkley showered the Timberwolves’ star man with praise. 

But the main thing man, that damn man, Anthony Edwards, he is special.

Also, after performing well in game 1, Edwards continued his form in the next game. Ant-Man played a crucial role once again in defeating the Nuggets in game 2 on May 6th. He dropped 27 points on the Nuggets and was one of the stand-out performers of the match.
