In the last 10 years, Charles Barkley has seen Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and the Golden State Warriors dominate the league to the point where new-age fans do not associate themselves with anyone else.
Now, they are older and are still trying to go for one or two more championships before they call time on their respective careers. Even head coach Steve Kerr‘s contract length is somehow tied to how long this collaboration will continue.
The team started off strong, winning four out of their first five games. Then, starting from their sixth game of this season, to now, the Bay Area-based franchise has posted a 10-14 record.
Old, over the hill… They had one of the greatest runs in NBA history, but it’s over. They’re just old… Steph is on the Mount Rushmore, but he gonna keep breaking down… I don’t think Jimmy is the same player, and Draymond definitely is not the same player.

Charles Barkley gave this opinion on Tom Tolbert‘s show based on what he has seen from the Warriors in these past two months. Even though Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler have been healthy, they cannot seem to get wins under their belt.
Charles Barkley says his friendship with Michael Jordan ended when he called him out for being a bad GM on TV 😳

He believes all the running around and age are finally catching up to them, and that the Big 3 are no longer players who could once turn games around on their own.
Now, even with younger teammates around them, they are struggling. This is why the Hall of Famer believes that the franchise’s run is over, and they have to look at a potential roster rejig.
Stephen Curry and Warriors snap 3-game losing streak
Charles Barkley might have based his view after witnessing the inconsistency with which the Golden State Warriors have struggled so far. Despite the attempts of all their superstars, the team has not been able to find a rhythm.
In their previous game, they faced the Phoenix Suns in Arizona, where the biggest talking point was how Dillon Brooks ended up striking Stephen Curry in the chest while trying to contest his 3-point shot.
Thankfully, the point guard did not suffer any major injury and returned to practice with his team ahead of a reverse clash at Chase Center. This time, the Warriors resorted to their signature third-quarter blitz, which helped them to overtake the Suns.
In the fourth quarter, it was an even battle, and the visitors did their best to push the home team into committing mistakes. Thankfully, for the Warriors, that did not happen, and they went on to win the game with a score of 119-114.
This win was without Draymond Green, as the forward was ejected for consecutive technical fouls in the first half. Despite that setback, his team soldiered on and snapped their 3-game losing streak.
Stephen Curry and Warriors have chance to get into rhythm
After this win, Stephen Curry and the Warriors’ focus will shift towards a similarly inconsistent Orlando Magic, who will touch down in San Francisco on December 22nd.

Considering how the latter are also fighting in close battles, the result will depend on how the home team reacts. They have to try to win and start getting into the habit of winning.
Next, they will welcome back former player Klay Thompson and his Dallas Mavericks for a Christmas Day showdown. Again, the home team has a chance, as their opponents are also dealing with inconsistency.
Win these two games, and they should be in rhythm when they go on the road to face three struggling Eastern Conference teams. Defeat them, and the Warriors could be knocking on the doors of playoff spots by the time the new year begins.
