Charles Barkley supports LeBron James in calling out people for hating on Caitlin Clark

The WNBA has received a tremendous level of attention since Caitlin Clark decided to join the professional league. All that attention has brought chartered flights, sellout arenas, endorsements, etc. However, there are those in the league that are not happy with Clark getting all the noise. As such, one current and one former NBA player came to the support of Clark.

First, it was LeBron James, and then Charles Barkley came out to fire back at those haters. Before tonight’s Western Conference Finals game 1, Charles Barkley took the opportunity on Inside the NBA to address the haters. It is safe to say Barkley did not hold back.

You woman out there, y'all petty, man. Hey LeBron, you are 100% right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark. Y'all petty girls. I expect men to be petty cause we're the most insecure group in the world. Y'all should be thanking that girl for getting y'all a*s private charters... Caitlin Clark, thank you for bringing all that money and shine to the WNBA.

Barkley took off on this rant after the Los Angeles Lakers superstar came out in support of Clark. Barkley knows that jealousy is causing all these other WNBA stars to bring out all the hate. As such, he gave them a stark reply.

It so happens that many WNBA players have either remained too hard or made extremely physical plays to try and slow down Clark. Even then, they have remained vocal in other ways about how the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history is getting all the eyeballs.

Well, from Barkley’s words it was clear that he sees those players as petty. The WNBA has seen growth after the Indiana Fever drafted Clark. They could not do in the league what Clark has done playing just 4 games so far. It echoed what LeBron James said earlier.

Charles Barkley is not concerned with people hating on him for supporting Caitlin Clark

After his rant, fellow panelist Draymond Green suggested that Charles Barkley will probably receive more hate now for supporting Clark. Barkley welcomed the hate and mocked the haters.

Listen, they can't do anything to me. They can hate on me, but that mailman better be at my damn house the 1st and the 15th. For another year.

The last part was a suggestion towards the fact that the Inside the NBA crew will be around for one more year. However, he reiterated that fans can hate him as much as they want as long as his paychecks come in twice a month. Charles Barkley does not care what people think about him. But as long as his payments from TNT keep coming, he knows that he will keep supporting those who are doing good.

Barkley will also not shy away from calling those people out who are petty. Caitlin Clark is transforming the WNBA. This means everyone will benefit, and the pay scale could also increase. Then again, some people will turn on their hate game for no apparent reason.
