The Golden State WarriorsDraymond Green was involved in a funny exchange with NBA Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley on the NBA on TNT show. Draymond Green attempted to argue that Stephen Curry should have won Clutch Player of the Year instead of DeMar DeRozan.

According to Green, this was due to the Warriors winning games despite finishing the season as the No. 10 seed. However, Charles Barkley wasn’t having it. He quickly interrupted Green and disagreed with his claims, which ended in a funny exchange between the two NBA greats.

While DeMar DeRozan made his point regarding that he could have won the Clutch Player of the Year, Green said on the NBA on TNT show, “DeMar my guy… but he couldn’t have [won Clutch Player of the Year] because Steph Curry was winning.” Chuck intervened in Green’s claims and trolled him by saying, “Y’all were winning?! Y’all were in the Play-In!”

Interstingly, throughout the season, Stephen Curry averaged 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. With 23 clutch victories and 189 clutch points, his clutch stats were amazing. DeRozan scored 182 points in the clutch and won 24 games, averaging 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. He was very competitive in that regard.

After the buzzer for the game went off, Barkley said goodbye to Draymond Green, but only after taking a swipe at him and his Warriors team that finished 10th.

However, Green did not hold back either. The Warriors forward mocked Barkley’s lack of NBA rings while preparing an effective response. Green said, “Here Chuck. Take my ring.” As for the Warriors, their season ended on a poor note and they will be looking to bounce back stronger in the next NBA season.
