Charles Barkley and Kendrick Perkins have been going off at each other for quite some time now. The two NBA analysts have butted heads over difference of opinions. The beef just went live on SNL as host Michael Che hoped in on the fun.

Perkins joined Che on the Saturday Night Live for a session on the update desk. Amongst a series of fluff from Perkins, host Michael Che reminded the former of his recent altercation. Assuming he had forgotten, Che jogged Perkins’ memory of Barkley calling him an ‘idiot’. Suffice to say, the comment hit the mark on the former Cavaliers star, who was extremely done with the constant reminder.

Do not get me started on Charles Barkley. He makes me so mad

Kendrick Perkins and Charles Barkley have been at each other’s throats ever since Luka Doncic was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. While the former believed the trade had saved the NBA, the latter quipped the Lakers were exaggeratingly covered. Additionally, Barkley wanted more coverage on the Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Both analysts have been calling each other out on their reportage on TNT and ESPN, respectively. Notably, the Lakers have significantly improved this season after the trade acquisition. As the regular season hits its conclusion, the team is looking to fortify its place in the playoffs.

Kendrick Perkins claps back at Charles Barkley’s comment

Kendrick Perkins did not hesitate to fire back at the sports channel and the analyst for the comment. Facing all the criticisms head on, the former took to X to give them a flat out warning. He reassured Charles Barkley that he wasn’t going anywhere while tagging TNT.

Additionally, Perkins asked the Basketball Hall of Famer to match the same energy when he sees him in person, which is likely in some time to happen when the two face each other. Kendrick welcomed Charles for any address he wanted regarding their clash of opinions.

Notably, TNT’s Inside the NBA is all set to air on ESPN starting next season. As a result of a partnership between TNT and the NBA, Barkley and Perkins will be colleagues. However, the two may or may not reconcile before then.
