The TNT analyst, Charles Barkley is one of the greatest players the game has seen. But he is infamously known for his unapologetic criticism of players. The Hall Of Famer, Dwyane Wade was also contained in his list of critiques.

During an appearance on Udonis Haslem’s talk show, The OGs Show, Wade revealed that he once felt hurt by Barkley’s criticism earlier in his career. The two apparently had a long-blown feud in the 2010s, while the NBA legend was still an active player. Charles Barkley was very expressive about downplaying Wade’s success with the Heat citing Shaquille O’Neal to be the real star of the Miami Heat’s 2006 title run.

My thing is this, I don’t get sensitive when people say stuff about me, like I did at one point, like when I was playing and then Charles Barkley would say something about me on TNT, I took that a little personal at the time. No need to do that but now I’m a grown a**, confident adult.

Dwyane Wade said

The former Heat icon then went on to say that the past comments from Barkley don’t have much weight anymore. Wade added that he found a separation between professional comments and his personal life, and even implied Barkley to invite him on TNT shows.

The two legends seem to have mended bonds over time, with both appearing together on multiple NBA-related content and shows. The 42-year-old was also blasted by Barkley on the unveiling of his statue recently.

The TNT analyst was having the time of his life reacting to Dwyane Wade’s new statue. Barkley was seen bursting into laughter as he was blasting the quality of the statue. Ernie Johnson and the whole crew chimed in to mock the statue and Wade even made fun of the statue following the unveiling.
