Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has taken a subtle dig at championship rivals McLaren. The Papayas have been accused of implementing an illegal rear wing, which has greatly helped in uplifting their runs this season.
Charles Leclerc has been at his very best for the Maranello-based team for the past few races. The Monegasque brilliantly secured the win at Monza earlier this month and is currently third in the drivers’ championship.
Ahead of the race in Singapore, Leclerc made a sly comment about the Woking-based team while explaining Ferrari’s upgrades. The 26-year-old said that his team has not implemented a mini-DRS, taking shots at the allegations against McLaren.
We don't have a mini-DRS as an upgrade.Charles Leclerc said ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix

Charles Leclerc urges Ferrari to focus on the process to achieve good results
Ferrari has made a formidable comeback after having performed poorly since their victory in Monaco this year. Charles Leclerc has since spoken on his team’s behalf when asked about their approach to winning more races here on.
We are doing a good job. We are bringing a small upgrade this weekend which I hope will help us for the rest of the season and now obviously we are going to try and take Mercedes and Red Bull. But it’s not by focusing on the title or the end result that [we] will go anywhere. We just have to focus on the process, and that’s what we are doing at the moment.Charles Leclerc said (via Formula1.com)
Leclerc has praised his team for their exuberant efforts while stating their intent to challenge the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes. The 24-year-old has moreover suggested his team focus on the process rather than the title as of now.
The Maranello-based team missed out on winning the Azerbaijan Grand Prix by merely a few tenths of a second. The streets of Singapore will therefore be a redemption for them as they seek to claim the win this weekend.
