The UFC 300 press conference presented an excellent time for fighters and fans. All eyes, however, were on Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira as he strutted into the UFC 300 pre-fight press conference. There was a pretty good reason for it, as well. The former lightweight champion was rocking a suit so bright, it could’ve lit up the entire room.

The Brazilian veteran was wearing a bright yellow suit, which not many people could pull that look off. Charles Oliveira was clearly reveling in the attention, practically dripping with confidence as he took the stage. The face-off against Arman Tsarukyan further made the fight fans feel the magical aura of ‘Do Bronx.’

Of course, Oliveira’s fashion prowess is nothing new. The man has a reputation for pushing the boundaries regarding his fight-week attire. The upcoming fight against Tsarukyan remains an important fight in the Brazilian’s career. As the age catches up to him, Oliveira should deem it necessary to fight for the title as soon as possible. As such, he must defeat the Armenian phenom to earn the title shot.

Both Oliveira and Tsarukyan will aim to give it their all and hope to get their hand raised. There is also another incentive to make a great fight for the fans. Dana White had announced $300,000 bonuses for the historic UFC 300. This will make the fights more engaging and exciting. Only time will tell if Olveira receives his much-awaited rematch against Islam Makhachev.

Charles Oliveira has waited a long time to receive a title shot against Islam Makhachev. After losing to the Dagestani fighter at UFC 280, Oliveira aims to exact revenge and recapture the lightweight title. But the Brazilian fighter doesn’t want to rush into that fight.

Speaking to AgFight, Oliveira said he is currently focused on winning his fight at UFC 300. ‘Do Bronx’ planned to face the lightweight champion towards the end of 2024, around October, November, or December. ‘Do Bronx’ also revealed why he didn’t want to fight in June. 

[Islam wants to fight in June] Yes but he didn't say my name, right? [Do you think he'll fight someone else] I don't know, he's actually saying a lot of things. He challenges the guy from 61kg, 57kg, but he doesn't talk about me. So, it's a bit complicated.

Oliveira’s confident that if he beats Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300, a title shot against Makhachev will be next. Makhachev had recently shown interest in fighting Justin Gaethje over a rematch against Oliveira. Of course, Tsarukyan is no easy out. The betting odds have the Armenian fighter as the favorite against Oliveira. But the Brazilian legend is feeling confident of an upset win.
