With the 2026 WNBA season yet to start, Angel Reese is still busy either spending time with boyfriend Wendell Carter Jr. or promoting her signature shoes.
Her Reebok AR1 signature shoe debuted last season, and since then, the Chicago Sky star has been traveling the world to promote it.
The sneaker giant has released quite a few colorways, one of which she wore when she traveled with Team USA to the FIBA Regional Qualifiers in Puerto Rico.
When fans saw her dominate the boards against international opponents, the 23-year-old was wearing a custom colorway specifically made for her USA Basketball exploits.
After returning, another colorway debuted, which the rebounding phenom showed off while wearing a ruffled white top as she graced the cover of Vogue Australia.
She was instrumental in landing a deal with the Australian women’s basketball league, the WNBL, when she traveled to Down Under. Now, Reebok has launched another special edition.

This was 14-time women’s world champion Charlotte Flair, who was hyped with the design and the colorway for Angel Reese’s AR1 kids edition.
For someone who has been hyping women’s basketball of late, this was not surprising, as the diva knows how impactful and far-reaching such a vibrant signature sneaker will be.
Angel Reese is hoping her shoes have the same cultural impact as Michael Jordan‘s original Air lineup. Even though it might be a monumental task to reach those heights, the WNBA superstar is doing everything she can to promote it to every audience possible.
Angel Reese flaunts her new WNBA salary to Speedy Morman
One of the ways Angel Reese is promoting her brand is when she hosts guests on her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, which she started under ‘uncle’ Shaquille O’Neal‘s production house.

The Maryland native has worked hard to promote her podcast, which now has a little under 160K subscribers. In a competitive industry, that is quite an achievement for a podcast that only produces content at certain times of the year.
One of the most popular episodes of her show was with media personality Speedy Morman. She invited him back, and with her AR1’s placed next to him, she said this:
We getting money now so they can fly you out. Would you like that?
Angel Reese said
They were talking about the qualities Morman looks for in a woman. During this conversation, Angel Reese pointed out that he can look at WNBA stars now that they are going to be paid significantly more.

What she was trying to say is that any of her peers who want to date Speedy Morman can spend her own money to fly him to wherever they are.
With the new CBA, they can now spend money on such expensive travel arrangements, something that was unthinkable eight months ago.
Angel Reese reacts to her LSU Tigers’ loss in March Madness
Angel Reese will not be suiting up for work until after the Chicago Sky first adjusts to the losses they will incur in the upcoming expansion draft, and then goes through the draft and free agency to finalize who will play alongside their most important player.
After last season’s disappointing ending, it was rumored that the 6’3″ forward is out of the franchise. But she and her team have reiterated their commitment to each other, at least for next season.
If the organization wants to continue feasting off her popularity, they have to assemble a squad good enough to make a run for the playoffs.
One of the players touted to be the perfect fit for the Chicago Sky is Flau’jae Johnson. She may not have had a good relationship with Angel Reese after the latter left LSU, but in a professional environment, they could rekindle that dynamic between them.
What a game.

In the final play, Duke’s Ashlon Jackson faked to send Flau’jae Johnson one way and drained the three-pointer to end LSU’s impressive run so far. Now, the latter will be working towards he WNBA debut, possibly with her former teammate beside her.
