Charlotte Flair breaks character to mourn the sudden demise of her superfan amid ongoing Tiffany Stratton controversy
The fourteen-time women's champion, Charlotte Flair, recently lost one of her biggest supporters. She penned a heartfelt note in return.

Often disliked while playing a bad girl on television, Charlotte Flair ditched her gimmick for something that transcends the boundaries of kayfabe. On Tuesday morning, the 39-year-old shared devastating news about one of her biggest fans passing away last week. Seemingly a transgender, their name was Nickie Booshie. Flair wrote in her X post that Booshie’s support was unwavering.
The Queen said that the deceased soul timely reminded her why she loves being a pro wrestler. Nickie would always hold a special place in her heart, added Charlotte as her parting words. The two linked up at a meet-and-greet before WrestleMania 38. At the time, The Nature Girl was heading into The Showcase of the Immortals to defend her women’s title against Ronda Rousey.
Flair did beat the former UFC Bantamweight Champion that weekend in Arlington, Texas. But she has a massive task at hand this weekend for the unversed. The 14-time women’s champ may have been ruffled by the recent loss, as stated above. However, she needs to put her act together real quick if Flair wants to rewrite the history books in Las Vegas.
Last week, someone very dear to me passed away. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to build meaningful and cherished relationships with many of my fans—Nickie Booshie was one of them.

This Saturday in Sin City, The Queen will take on the woman who used to idolize her—Tiffany Stratton. The latter has done a great job at holding on to the WWE Women’s Championship that she won by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on the first SmackDown of 2025. But is the end near for The Buff Barbie? Time will tell.
Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton have made it personal after recent remarks
The weeks following Charlotte Flair choosing to fight Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania after winning the women’s Royal Rumble match were quite mundane in terms of the storyline progression between the two. However, in the last 20-odd days, the feud has turned over a new leaf. It began with a tumultuous split-screen interview featuring these women, where the veteran allegedly tried to bury the youngster.

In response a week later, Stratton called Charlotte insecure that even after spending years in the main event scene of WWE, she couldn’t let a rookie like Tiffany talk. The fuss around that sit-down exchange of words that Flair dominated led to the infamous promo battle of Chicago.
The WrestleMania combatants came face-to-face in Chi-town, which was anti-Flair from the get-go. The segment went off the rails at its tail end when Tiffany brought up Charlotte’s recent divorce from Andrade. The Center of the Universe also quipped that Flair’s now a three-time divorcee.
The Queen clapped back by subtly accusing Stratton’s boyfriend of cheating on her. Expectedly, both women caught the ire of the WWE management that was somewhat aware of the lingering tension between them. Neither woman said even half of the stuff that was listed in the rundown of their segment. They largely went off-script.
Charlotte Flair regained upper hand on Tiffany Stratton last week
After Tiffany Stratton retaliated by shooting low on Charlotte Flair‘s personal life issues, it’d seem as if there’s some trouble in paradise between them. It hasn’t been confirmed in any way that Flair and Stratton don’t see eye-to-eye outside of the squared circle, so there’s no point speculating on that front.

However, their match at WrestleMania could tell a lot. WWE is reportedly not that concerned about the female belligerents engaging in a shoot fight, but they might stiff each other out at times. Last week on SmackDown, The Queen got the upper hand on Tiffy not once, but twice.

The champ got blindsided by Charlotte after she’d just beaten Roxanne Perez. Flair’s onslaught of Stratton had to be quelled by Wade Barrett stepping in and talking some sense into the North Carolina-born wrestler. The latest betting odds favor Flair at -140 as opposed to Tiffany, who’s listed as an underdog at +100 at WrestleMania.
