Charlotte Flair is one of the all-time greats in WWE. She has had an illustrious career in the ring and has been considered by many as a future Hall of Famer. This week on NXT, the Prodigy of White and Gold Roxanne Perez gave props to The Queen for her run in WWE. As such, the 14-time Women’s Champion didn’t waste time reacting to this show of respect from the 27-year-old.

Flair took to X to share her response to Perez mentioning her on TV. The NXT Women’s Champion said that the Queen has completed 13 years since her first NXT match. Charlotte Flair corrected Perez and revealed that it has been 11 years since her in-ring debut in NXT.

Furthermore, she appreciated the Prodigy for being her fan and giving her the flowers that she deserved. Flair added that she really looks forward to a match with the 22-year-old down the line in WWE. As of now, the Queen is recovering from a torn ACL she suffered in December last year.

Flair had her first match on NXT on July 17, 2013. She defeated Bayley in a dominant display on her debut. She went on to make history thereafter as she broke record after record in the company. Amid her injury hiatus, the 38-year-old recently shared some glimpses of her first look from the indie horror feature “You Lose You Die.”

Charlotte Flair has been off WWE TV for over 7 months. She was an important part of the programming, and her absence can certainly be felt on Friday Night SmackDown. Amidst her absence, the Queen shared a gym selfie with a bold message. It was speculated to be a tease for her anticipated return to WWE.

The 14-time champion posted a selfie in gym attire, hinting at her constant preparation for the return. She wrote an interesting caption saying “destroy and rebuild,” which hints towards her coming back stronger than ever. Besides, she has been posting her recovery glimpses regularly on social media.

SummerSlam is just around the corner. It can be the perfect place for the royal return of a superstar like Flair. She also has some unfinished business with the Women’s Championship that can also be a pivotal point following her return. Only time will tell how things will pan out for the 37-year-old from here on in her WWE career.
