Charlotte Flair reveals the reason for her absence from WWE Raw

Charlotte Flair tested positive for Covid

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has confirmed that she has tested positive for Covid-19. She took to Twitter to inform all her fans that she was resting at home. Flair even thanked all her fans for all the love.

The Queen’s absence from Monday Night Raw had led to numerous speculations. But Flair has now confirmed the real reason for her absence from the Red brand. She was last seen a couple of weeks ago and was all set to go after the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.

On the latest episode of Raw too her condition was acknowledged by Rhea Ripley. She mentioned that Flair was going after the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. But as she was absent due to the virus, Ripley challenged Asuka for the title instead.

Will Charlotte Flair appear on Wrestlemania 37?

Flair was scheduled to face Asuka at Wrestlemania 37

WWE has removed Flair from all the Wrestlemania 37 promotional materials. This might just be a precautionary measure on WWE’s part as Flair’s appearance is not guaranteed.

There is no clarity on the date when Flair contracted the virus, so her return date is impossible to speculate. Even if she does manage to recover, it is not likely that WWE will get enough time to build her up for a match at Mania. But even Drew McIntyre recovered and made a quick return to the ring.

A much clearer picture of her return might be obtained in the coming weeks. We wish Charlotte Flair a speedy recovery.
