Charlotte Flair savagely roasts a troll asking for her WWE retirement amid reports of backstage heat in the company
A fan on social media tried telling Charlotte Flair that it might be time for her to call it quits on her wrestling career.

For the first time since engaging in an off-the-rails promo battle with Tiffany Stratton last Friday, Charlotte Flair owned up to a mistake she committed during SmackDown. The 39-year-old said she should’ve never called the Chicago fans smart, apologizing for the slip of the tongue. The Queen got blindsided by her personal trauma on live TV, and hence the error of judgment on her part.
One of the comments underneath the post told the 14-time women’s champion that retirement is knocking on her door. Wiping the troll off, Flair responded, “I think it’s your mom; she’s trying to be #4.” The savagery she’s showing on social media doesn’t alleviate the fact that Charlotte has upset the people in the back, a report from Dave Meltzer claimed.
The North Carolina native wasn’t supposed to act squeaky, which she did after realizing that the crowd was totally against her. Fightful has now confirmed that the references Stratton made about Flair’s divorce weren’t cleared by WWE in advance, and neither was the one that saw Charlotte mentioning Ludwig Kaiser strolling into her DMs. The German wrestler even clapped back at his partner’s WrestleMania nemesis.

The aforementioned report also added that those backstage felt Flair went off script first and Tiffany was kind of overdue in standing up for herself. The said claim was made in regard to a recent split-screen interview where The Queen allegedly tried to bury The Buff Barbie. Stratton going personal with the veteran in Chi-town was believed to be an act of retaliation from the reigning women’s champ.

Tiffany Stratton boasts about holding her own against Charlotte Flair
Quite recently, Tiffany Stratton was on the Babyfaces podcast. And, of course, she was asked about that infamous war of words on SmackDown. The Center of the Universe iterated that she caught her belligerent by surprise. The Nature Girl might’ve not expected a neophyte like Stratton to actually go off at Flair like the way Stratton did, believes the latter.

Even though it wasn’t the ideal way of beefing up their rivalry, the 25-year-old said the fans are suddenly taking more interest after what transpired last week. On WrestleMania Saturday, the two women will wage war under the bright lights of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
WWE had it scouted even before Charlotte returned from a career-threatening knee injury. At first, the fans were quite optimistic to see a different version of Flair going at it with the woman who used to look up to her. Everything started going downhill once The Queen won this year’s Royal Rumble match.
Following up, the feud was having mundane angles in the name of building to their WrestleMania showdown until things that weren’t scripted caught the public eye. Charlotte’s unfortunate 0-3 marriage statistic broached by Stratton did actually perturb Ric Flair‘s daughter. She had recently opened up about her latest divorce while tearing up on camera.
Ric Flair sounds off on controversial Charlotte Flair segment
Earlier this week, Ric Flair was a guest on Busted Open Radio. He wasn’t overt the moon about the segment that brought up his daughter’s personal life. The Nature Boy also took offense with WWE’s obsession of sneaking his name into its programming.

Ric caught strays from both John Cena and Tiffany Stratton in the same week. Anyway, the two-time WWE HOF’er didn’t think that the Charlotte/Stratton segment was mapped out backstage before those women were sent in front of a live crowd to have it delivered.

WrestleVotes had already noted that both Flair and Stratton spoke very little of what was listed in the rundown. The insider has now come up with a detailed version of what actually was supposed to go down. Nonetheless, the feud has peaked at the right time with WrestleMania next weekend.
