Charlotte Flair had an amusing response to a fan inquiring about her latest wardrobe malfunction on SmackDown. ‘The Queen’ battled Nia Jax in a grueling contest this past Friday. Those tuning in live complained of multiple screen blackouts while the match was on. Some had figured out that the interruptions occurred to cover up a nip-slip from Flair.
‘The Queen’, therefore, hilariously responded to a fan on X, saying, “I’m going to start wrestling in the robes.” She had a torrid experience out there, it seems. Moreover, adding to her woes was the ending of her match with Jax. Flair’s tag team partner Alexa Bliss got ambushed by Lash Legend at ringside.

It was the latter’s official call-up to SmackDown, and she made the most of it by proving her allegiance to ‘The Irresistible Force’. Jax beat Charlotte Flair by making full use of those shenanigans. The night wasn’t over for the reigning women’s tag team champs just yet.
In fact, when Flair and Bliss reached backstage to receive some medical attention after what happened out there, the duo was misted upon by Asuka and Kairi Sane, who disguised themselves as nurses. This week on Raw, Flair and Bliss will defend their women’s tag team titles against The Kabuki Warriors. It’d be interesting to see if the babyface duo will be able to keep their reign intact or not.
Johnny Gargano reacts to his epic SmackDown match with Ilja Dragunov
In a first-ever matchup on this week’s SmackDown, Johnny Gargano pushed Ilja Dragunov to the limits after ‘The Mad Dragon’ bestowed a US title shot on ‘The Rebel Heart’. At first, Tommaso Ciampa was gunning for it. However, Dragunov decided to face Gargano instead. Ciampa, though upset by the situation, didn’t aggressively oppose it and entrusted his DIY teammate with getting the job done.

The Clevelander gave his all, but it wasn’t enough to oust Dragunov. Gargano, however, took to X and shared his reaction after a nail-biting loss to ‘The Czar’. The 38-year-old wrote, “First time ever, but definitely not the last time ever… You know what they say about Batman with prep.”

The fans were left mighty impressed with Johnny Wrestling’s performance and started clamoring for his increased exposure on SmackDown. The US title open challenge has emerged as a silver lining for an otherwise subpar product that WWE is coming up with on Fridays.
Circling back to what could be next for Dragunov after surviving the competence of Gargano, the former NXT UK Champion is inevitably going to take on Ciampa based on the interactions they’ve had of late. However, WWE has also been teasing Tama Tonga as a viable contender for Dragunov. The MFT member has bumped into ‘The Unbesiegbar’ on quite a few occasions in the past weeks.
What happened after main event chaos on SmackDown?
There was plenty of chaos that ensued after SmackDown went off air. In the main event, Drew McIntyre crashed the non-title match between Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black. ‘The Scottish Warrior’ didn’t attack either of the two wrestlers at first. McIntyre instead clocked the match referee with a Claymore kick.

McIntyre and Black then ganged up on a defenseless Rhodes, who received the backup of Damian Priest. The former Judgment Day member’s issues with Black were on the boil at ringside, where the ex-AEW star attacked Priest’s eye, which had been previously burned by Black throwing a fireball at him.

Back in the ring, Rhodes caught McIntyre with a Cody Cutter, forcing the Scot to roll out. Just then, GM Nick Aldis came out and suspended the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ for his actions. Later, as posted by WWE on its social media platforms, McIntyre and Aldis got into a heated confrontation backstage.

Both men started cursing each other out, with ‘The Chosen One’ ultimately leaving the arena in disgust. On the other hand, Priest received medical attention for his eye. ‘The Street King’ was clearly incensed with what happened and vowed to pull Black’s heart out of his system.
