Former QB William Chase Daniel put the Dallas Cowboys general manager and owner Jerry Jones on the spot with some demanding questions. The Cowboys, albeit containing one of the best rosters, are 3-4 after an underwhelming start to the season.
The Cowboys have been on the receiving end of hate online. After the offseason drama, the Cowboys started the season with a win over the Cleveland Browns. In the following week, the New Orleans Saints thrashed them badly.
The defeat started the unsuccessful run for them at home this season. The Cowboys, after seven games, are still to stage a victory in front of home fans. They suffered a major blow in Week 6 when the Detroit Lions ran riot with a blowout win. The “America’s team” isn’t where they were expected to be.
In an episode of ‘The Facility’, Daniel noted that the Cowboys aren’t a good team. He expressed his loss of faith in the team as well. The Super Bowl champion added that they are far from earning his faith, stating that the Cowboys can’t restore his faith even if they win against the Falcons.
Chase Daniel grew up in Texas rooting for the Cowboys. He even noted that he and his parents used to hit the stands for all the Cowboys home games in the old Texas stadium. His lack of faith echoes the Cowboys fans’ frustration and hopelessness as they enter yet another season looking to break the Super Bowl drought.

Daniel also questioned the management skills of Jones. Daniel even pointed fingers at Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, both of whom signed big money papers.
Daniel expressed concern about their lack of chemistry. His opinions stem from the fact that neither Prescott nor Lamb are producing stats worthy of their numbers.
Dallas Cowboys need to get their act together ahead of Georgia trip
It’s a given that the Cowboys have a ton of problems to resolve. There are issues in defense and offense alike. However, Chase Daniel noted that the Cowboys need to put in more effort to build a run game. Seven-time champion Tom Brady had previously said the same.
As the trade deadline looms, Dallas needs to figure out how can they rush and create scoring chances. Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys HC, earlier noted that “running back by committee” is not the preference as they try to find some sort of consistency in a rushing attack. They are dead last in the NFL by a substantial margin entering Week 9.
Dalvin Cook got his run at it in San Francisco and is expected to get another look in Atlanta. The Falcons are a high-ranked team in the conference, and it would be a tough game. The Falcons are fresh off a division win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their last game. The game could be the decider for Jones whether they need a new face to make their game better.
