Kansas City Chiefs’ ability to secure narrow victories should not be underestimated. While they may not currently be favorites for the Super Bowl, the dynamics can shift dramatically once the postseason begins. In that case, the Detroit Lions, viewed as Super Bowl frontrunners, are expected to be considered a threat to the Chiefs’ historic three-peat. However, if Chase Daniel were to be asked, it’s the Buffalo Bills.

In the latest episode of Fox Sports’ The Facility, the panel, including Daniel, discussed which team, the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Bills, poses a greater threat to the Chiefs within the AFC. The two-time Super Bowl defending champions are one feat away from clinching the top seed in the AFC.

I’m gonna go with the Bills just because they already beat the Chiefs. When you beat the Chiefs and I know it’s the regular season and you gotta beat them in the postseason but you get this confidence level that when you face them, it’s not like climbing Mt. Everest. Like, ‘We’ve already done that.’

Chase Daniel said

The Super Bowl champion emphasized that the only loss that Kansas City endured this season was against Buffalo which certainly counts for something. He believes defeating them gave Josh Allen’s Bills the confidence they needed to “compete at the highest level,” which can turn into a potential threat for the Chiefs.

Josh Allen’s record-breaking performances in consecutive weeks

After the impressive feat against the undefeated Chiefs, the Bills displayed two solid back-to-back performances against the San Francisco 49ers in extreme weather conditions, and then the Los Angeles Rams. Allen broke numerous records in Week 13 against the Rams in these two weeks while being the MVP favorite

In the chilling weather and snow-covered field in Buffalo, star quarterback Allen became the first quarterback in NFL history to score touchdowns as a runner, passer, and receiver– all in the same game. Even though the Bills couldn’t secure a win against the Rams, Allen solidified his MVP odds with a six-touchdown performance

Despite not winning a Super Bowl during his tenure in Buffalo, Allen is counted among the biggest and fastest-growing athletes across all sports. While leading the league in QBR of 76.7, Allen recorded 3,033 yards with 23 touchdowns and five interceptions in the last 13 games this season.
