Since arriving to WWE, Chelsea Green hasn’t hesitated to complain about anything that irks her. She has constantly clashed with SmackDown and Raw General Managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, respectively. In the latest chapter, The Lunatic Lush found herself in another situation where she felt robbed of a title opportunity and called out Aldis on social media.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, the brackets for the inaugural Women’s Speed Tournament were revealed. However, Chelsea Green was nowhere to be seen in the graphic. Enraged by this, she took to X and berated Nick Aldis, asking him why she was left out of the competition. The Hot Mess has expressed her desire multiple times that she wanted to become the first “SpeeDiva.”
Green hasn’t wrestled much on the blue brand since her humiliating loss to Bianca Belair on the July 19th episode of SmackDown. Her last PLE match was a ladder match at Money in the Bank, where she suffered a horrific fall from the ladder, crashing through multiple tables. Since then, the former tag team champ has done nothing significant aside from appearing in backstage segments.
Umm excuse me RealNickAldis ... you forgot my graphic. Where is my speed match so I can become the next SpeeDiva!!!!!!!????Chelsea Green on X
Since that match, The Hot Mess has developed a sort of animosity towards the eventual winner, Tiffany Stratton. On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Green exposed her facade and predicted that Stratton would soon cash in her contract on her close friend Nia Jax. Only time will tell whether she will turn on the WWE Women’s Champion or not.
Chelsea Green extends her support to her tag team partner Piper Niven for the Speed Tournament
Despite not being in the Speed Tournament, Chelsea Green didn’t forget to support her tag team partner, Piper Niven. The Scottish star will be participating in the tournament, facing Candice LeRae in the first round. Both stars will have just three minutes to finish the match, which will be televised on the social media platform X.
Niven took to X to describe how she felt after the brackets were announced, and it’s fair to say she felt confident. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion is determined to become the very first Speed Tournament Champion. To encourage her further, Green referred to her as “Speedy P” and wished her luck in the competition.
The 33-year-old star was involved in a heated rivalry with then-WWE Women’s Champion Bayley. She even had the chance to wrestle for the world title in her home country, Scotland. However, she was unable to defeat The Role Model and has since been out of the title picture. It will be intriguing to see if she manages to win her first singles title in WWE.
