Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green together are one of the most famous couples in professional wrestling. Not only are they tremendously supportive of each other in real life, but they often show support to each other on social media. A social media user recently attacked the 39-year-old on social media, and his wife jumped in to defend him.

Green called out the netizen for getting upset simply because Matt Cardona spoke highly of himself. She mentioned how the former United States Champion was the first to use the power of social media in professional wrestling. After all, he was highly over with the WWE Universe in 2012 due to his YouTube channel despite receiving no push from the company. Finally, she hurled a few more insults at the social media user.

This fiasco began when Cardona claimed that his appearance at the Royal Rumble would make the roof go off the place. He claimed that he would also move a lot of merchandise. However, he has not been approached by the promotion in any capacity. Green also said that she wanted to see her husband in WWE more than anything.

The netizen called out the Indy God for being self-obsessed. He claimed that Cardona’s claims of changing the game were false. In fact, he said that the Deathmatch King had made no impact in the professional wrestling scene at all. He claimed that the only time the erstwhile Zack Ryder was relevant was when John Cena kissed his girlfriend on live TV.

It is safe to say that he got what was coming to him after Green’s brutal reply. Cardona is also equally supportive of her wife on social media. He wrote several heartfelt messages for her and congratulated her when she became the inaugural Women’s United States Champion.

Chelsea Green says Triple H makes women feel equal in WWE

The condition of the women’s division has drastically improved over the past decade, especially under the new regime. Triple H, being at the helm of the creative team, has also improved things a lot. Chelsea Green testified to this fact in a recent appearance on the Sports Agents podcast.

Chelsea Green said that comparing Vince McMahon to Triple H was analogous to comparing the Attitude Era vs. now and comparing Divas to women’s wrestlers. She said that the King of Kings made women feel equal to men. She loved going to work because she felt seen and supported.

That’s why I feel so supported and so seen. It’s because we are out there main-eventing WrestleMania now — something that previous era didn’t get to experience. But, they set the table for it. Now, we’re enjoying these amazing meals and I couldn’t be happier.

Women were now participating in the main events of WrestleMania. Unfortunately, this was something that the previous generation did not get to experience. However, people like the Bella Twins, Trish Stratus, Lita, and Mickie James had set the table for them. Now, she and others in her generation were getting to enjoy the meals.
