Chelsea Green reveals her plans after WWE release
Chelsea Green was released by WWE
‘The Hot Mess’ Chelsea Green was one of the 10 stars released by WWE, due to budget cuts. She was one of the more prominent names to be released alongside Samoa Joe, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay.
Green is currently under a 90-day non-compete clause. Post that, she would be able to wrestle for other promotions. Despite being released by the company, she is proud of her short and sweet journey.
Although currently under a non-compete clause, Green has revealed that she has some other plans in the works, including a YouTube channel and a new podcast, “I was doing YouTube for a little bit during the pandemic and I had a lot of fun with it. I need to educate myself a little more in editing and things liker that. So I will be doing that and I’m gonna get a podcast up and running here soon.”
During the interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Green also revealed that she will be appearing in a movie that is being shot in Canada.
Chelsea Green is open to future WWE return
During the interview, Green revealed that her departure from WWE wasn’t controversial and she would be open to returning if an opportunity comes her way.
“Yeah totally! I mean, never say never for anything for any opportunity you know, and I didn’t go out guns ablazing with WWE. I have a relationship with all those people that the bridge is not burnt. I think I have a good relationship with all those people. I’m really excited to not focus on WWE and to focus on the other companies that I know I can be a star at, but never say never for anything in the future.”
Chelsea Green mentioned that she was looking forward to working outside WWE but had a good relationship with the company, of the opportunity to return arises.
