33-year-old star suggests that Bianca Belair was the one behind Jade Cargill’s attack
Popular SmackDown star hints at Bianca Belair possibly attacking Jade Cargill following their confrontation on last week's episode.

A WWE Superstar has suggested that it was potentially Bianca Belair who was behind the recent attack on Jade Cargill. Cargill was ruled out of the WarGames match at Survivor Series when she was attacked off-screen during the November 22nd episode of SmackDown. During a match between Belair, Blair Davenport, and Chelsea Green in the Women’s United States Title tournament, cameras went backstage to show that Cargill had been attacked.
The segment showed Cargill lying on the hood of a car, with the windshield damaged, indicating that she had been thrown on top of the vehicle. This would cause Belair to abandon the match and go backstage to check on her longtime tag team partner. At that point, Cargill had been scheduled to participate in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series but was subsequently ruled out of the match.
Cargill’s attack backstage was clearly a way for WWE to write her off of programming for a decent chunk of time, with the company claiming that she had suffered half a dozen injuries and that “There is no timetable for her return.”
Chelsea Green speculates on the attack
Always one to use social media to help with her character work, Green would post on X asking whether “Bianca did it,” clearly referencing the attack on Jade Cargill.
This ‘whodunnit’ is obviously going to be a plot point for the next few months, with Bianca Belair speaking with Naomi on a recent episode of SmackDown to lay out the potential suspects. Naomi claimed that the following superstars could’ve been involved in the backstage attack: Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez.
Conflicting reports on Jade Cargill’s injury
Something that is causing confusion amongst fans is the legitimacy of the injury to Cargill. More specifically, whether or not she was just being written off to add Bayley to WarGames instead. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio recently claimed that the segment was done to cover for a legit injury. PWInsider would refute this, saying that Cargill is not injured at all and the attack was done strictly in storyline.
To further add to the confusion, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select would write that his sources within WWE believe Cargill was written off TV due to a legitimate injury, so there are conflicting reports, all from reputable outlets, on her current status.
Fans will likely get more clarity on the situation in the next few weeks, but if Cargill is out for a few months, then she may well be brought back for a program at WrestleMania 41 against her mystery attacker.
