Chicago Bulls end 6 game losing streak after beating Brooklyn Nets

Chicago Bulls surely had some pieces to pick when they started the 2020-21 season and their acquisition of Nikola Vucevic seems to be the answer. Vucevic scored an impressive double-double in his second game as well with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Zach LaVine led the offensive chart for the Chicago Bulls with 25 points. 

Talking about the Chicago bulls, they were without James Harden and Kevin Durant, who are expected to return to action in the coming week. Kyrie Irving led the team with 24 points as all the starters had scores in double digits for the away team.

The Chicago Bulls have ended their 6 games losing streak with this victory over the Brooklyn Nets 107-115. . The Brooklyn Nets with this loss have again come back to the #2 spot in the Eastern Conference. The Nets have lost for the 2nd time in 6 games. Talking about the 2 new acquisitions for the Nets, Blake Griffin added 10, while LaMarcus Aldridge registered 11 points against his name. 

Brooklyn opened up the fourth quarter with eight straight points as consecutive threes from Shamet and Green made it an 89-80 game. Chicago extended the lead back to 100-86, but Brown scored twice for Brooklyn with a Green 3-pointer in between to again make it a nine-point game, 100-91, midway through the quarter. 

The Nets cut it to 102-95 with five minutes to go and 109-102 with two minutes to go, both on Irving baskets, but again the Bulls answered, this time with a Zach LaVine 3-pointer for a 10-point lead with 1:22 to go. 

The Nets would eb facing the New York Knicks next, while Chicago Bulls are up against Indiana Pacers in their next encounter.
