Hurricane Helene, the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland United States since Katrina in 2005, has left approximately 220 dead, and damages worth billions. On Wednesday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) admitted that the organization is lacking funds to sustain the rest of the Atlantic hurricane season.

The Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who announced the lack of funds, also hinted at a potential cyclone following Helene. The unnamed cyclone was named ‘Milton’ around 24 hours ago and is predicted to hit Florida soon. The comment by Mayorkas also drove politicians to heat a nasty rumor amid upcoming elections in the States.

The Republican candidate and former American president Donald Trump and his allies have seized on the opportunity to blame the organization for blowing around a billion to house illegal immigrants. Kansas City Chiefs owner’s wife Tavia Hunt has now come out accusing FEMA of a $1.4 billion fraud.

The 53-year-old put out a strongly worded Instagram story, ripping into the agency’s expenditure and America helping Ukraine.

FEMA redirected $1.4 BILLION of taxpayer’s funds over the past two years to illegal aliens due to open-border policies. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas now says the agency doesn’t ‘have enough funds for hurricane season. And last Monday we sent another $5.7 BILLION to the Ukraine. But there’s no money for AMERICAN CATASTROPHES

Tavia Hunt wrote on Instagram

Although the organization has been funding the said immigrant housing, the funds have not been taken from the Disaster Relief Funds. Andrew Bates, deputy press secretary, noted that the information being spread is false.

He added that the funding is taken from a separate spigot from Customs and Border Patrol administered by FEMA. He further pointed out that there are plentiful funds for immediate Helene assistance as no disaster relief funds have been misused.

Tavia Hunt previously voiced her concerns about rising inflation costs last week. The Chiefs Women’s Organization director recently posted a picture with Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance as well.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs are enjoying a nearly perfect 4-0 record through four weeks of the NFL season. They will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 with Taylor Swift on the stands after she missed two road games.

Rachel Bush, Dolphins WAG, joins Tavia Hunt in the FEMA accusal

Rachel Bush, who’s married to Jordan Poyer of the Miami Dolphins, has once again lashed out at FEMA while replying to a follower’s comment. Bush has been a constant critic of Kamala Harris and voices her opinions now and then.

Bush tweeted asking the government to stop all foreign aid until the domestic needs were met. She added that every American should be angry about how the hurricane has been handled.

Rachel Bush has constantly criticized the current administration while she praises the Republican candidates across the state. Bush has reposted numerous links blaming the administration for the initial sum of $750 being given to affected individuals.
