Patrick Mahomes will have a relatively lesser frustrating season this year. There were many moments throughout the regular season where fans saw the talented quarterback run around and struggle to find wide receivers to throw the ball to. Despite this, he won a Super Bowl. This year, he has a fully stacked receiver room with talent.

The Kansas City Chiefs are running it back with Mecole Hardman this season. The wide receiver, who notably caught and scored the final touchdown during overtime in Super Bowl LVIII signed a one-year deal with the team for $4 million. He joins Skyy Moore, Rashee Rice, and Kadarius Toney as experienced players in the locker room.

Patrick Mahomes is going to have a field day with his wideouts this season, let’s not forget, the Chiefs drafted Xavier Worthy out of Texas with the 28th pick in the NFL Draft. He happens to be the fastest man from his draft class, as if Mahomes needed any more weapons to work with!

Fans are terrified of the new-look Chiefs offense following Mecole Hardman re-signing

This move, of course, infuriated the fans of other NFL teams. Fans lashed out and called Patrick Mahomes out asking how much more help does he need to win yet another Super Bowl. Well, if he could secure a win with the offense that he had last season, there is no reason he would take a backseat with this stacked lineup.

But as is the case with fans, they recognize how much of a threat the Chiefs are now with Hardman back in the mix. Here are some of the reactions to the team re-signing him via X:

Someone clearly did not watch the Super Bowl…

A Chiefs three-peat is looking very realistic now…

On the bright side, no Rice, no problem. The Chiefs can manage without him assuming he faces a suspension over his legal turmoil.

The interesting part about the Kansas City Chiefs wideouts are that if one were to rank them in the NFL, most of them would not make it within the top 15. However, rank the roster in terms of speed, then most of them are likely to make it within the top 10. Mahomes has the ability to put the ball in the hands of his receivers. All he needs is speedy players on the depth chart.
