Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have a great chance of securing a sensational three-peat. Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin shared some valuable advice on how they can manage it.

The Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls, beating the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2023, respectively. If they lift the Lombardi Trophy again in 2024, then they will accomplish something unique and unachieved feat in the league.

No franchise has ever won three consecutive Super Bowls in the NFL era. The Green Bay Packers were the only team to record a three-peat in pre-NFL times.

Michael Irvin and the Dallas Cowboys almost achieved a three-peat after winning the Super Bowl in 1992 and 1993. However, they failed to win in 1994, but they won their third Lombardi the following season in 1995.

The 58-year-old, who remains without a job after NFL Network released him earlier this year, was a guest on the latest episode of The Jim Rowe Show. Irvin spoke about meeting Travis Kelce at an NBA game and revealed the All-Pro tight end kept asking him about tips to record the three-peat.

I said to him [Travis Kelce], 'Whatever you do, do all you can do to make that [three-peat] happen. Don't leave nothing on the table because, I'm telling you, if you leave anything on the table, you don't get it; you will think about it for the rest of your life like I do.

Irvin recalled Kelce giving him a tight hug. ,

Man, that's what I needed to hear man.
Travis Kelce then replied, according to Michael Irvin

The Kansas City Chiefs’ odd to achieve the three-peat has NFL analysts divide

The Cowboys and the Chiefs are part of different teams that attempted a three-peat. However, there’s always the chance of history repeating itself, even though veteran defensive end Chris Jones remains an optimist, unlike FOX’s Colin Cowherd.

The host of The Herd threw caution at the Chiefs, citing last season’s underwhelming performances. In Cowherd’s view, the Chiefs were very close to losing almost every game in the playoffs, including the Super Bowl. They only survived because of the NFL’s best player per PFF, quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

General Manager Brett Veach understood the Chiefs’ underlying weakness and did his best to answer it. The biggest issue they faced was the dropped catches in the final third. Veach brought in Hollywood Brown, re-signed Mecole Hardman, and drafted Texas rookie Xavier Worthy. Furthermore, they kept hold of the majority of the offensive and defensive lines, which was their best asset last season.

Cowherd’s colleague, Nick Wright, presented this in his argument. According to him, the Chiefs’ ability to keep hold of the players who won the Super Bowl should be handy. BetMGM predicted (+500) that the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl again.
