Trey Smith keeps his Super Bowl ring with him all the time. Even during interviews. During a recent sit-down with Kay Adams of FanDuel for an episode of Up & Adams, Smith casually brought out his ring when Adams asked him if he had it with him. The 14.8-carat diamond-crusted ring made Adams giddy.

Smith kept it safe, wrapped inside a Louis Vuitton bag, which was equally impressive. Shaking off her disbelief at seeing the ring up close and personal, she took it off the Chiefs guard’s hand and put it on her finger.

Adams then asked Smith the reason for keeping the Super Bowl ring with him all the time.

It’s a nice conversation starter.

Adams then asked Smith about what the Super Bowl ring meant to him. The 25-year-old spoke of the hard work he and his Chiefs teammates went through to win the Lombardi Trophy.

A tremendous amount of pride in what our team was able to accomplish. Us being able to do it two years in a row. While I look at that, I look at legacies that I can pass down to my kids and my grandkids—my grandad won a Super Bowl.

Adams was in awe at that moment and could not help herself by asking him whether he ever felt afraid of losing it.

No! I keep it on me... No one’s gonna take that from me.
Trey Smith quipped

It would be a challenge for anyone to just take the ring from a 6-foot-6-321-pound man without receiving damage. Braun Strowman did not want to find out when Smith came to the defense of quarterback Patrick Mahomes at WrestleMania XL earlier this year.

Smith accompanied the same boy whom he protected during the carnage of the Kansas City shootings in February.

I had the WWE belt on me the entire parade. I was thinking, ‘What can I do to help him out?’ I handed him the belt, ‘Hey buddy, you’re the champion. No one’s gonna hurt you. Don’t worry. No one’s gonna hurt you.
Trey Smith told the panic-stricken boy

Smith is a two-time Super Bowl winner after the Chiefs selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 draft. The Tennesse graduate was the 13th-best guard in the league, according to Pro Football Focus, while teammate Joe Thuney placed 5th. Smith will also appear alongside head coach Andy Reid, Mecole Hardman, Travis Kelce, and his mother, Donna Kelce, in the Chiefs Hallmark movie.
