A few days ago, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry announced that he will take his Curry Brand tour to China, a country he has grown closely connected with over the past decade. Since 2014, Curry has made regular visits there to promote his brand and engage with his passionate Chinese fan base.
Besides, many stars visit the Asian nation for their brand campaigns, but also for the love and support they receive from the Chinese. Stars like James Harden and Jalen Williams recently visited China and were bombarded with fans all over their airport and hotel lobbies. The Chinese fanbase welcomes the basketball stars in a whole different way, and Curry just witnessed this on day 1 of his Curry brand tour.
Notably, the warrior’s point guard was also welcomed with an insane high-tech drone show. The city of Chongqing recreated Stephen Curry’s night-night celebration via their beautiful drone show, leaving Curry amused. So much so that the four-time NBA champion took to his Instagram account to put forward the day 1 of his tour.
As per Curry’s Instagram post, one can also see the immense popularity the Chinese fanbase has shown him. As soon as Curry entered the event regarding his CurryCon interactive session, hundreds of fans could be spotted chanting MVP towards the warrior’s legend.
Curry played in front of hundreds of Chinese fans, engaged with supporters, was greeted with a stunning drone show, got MVP chants, and whatnot, just in a single day of his Curry brand tour in Chongqing, China. As he embarks on the second day of his brand tour, Curry made it clear that this one will be ‘unforgettable’.

There were other factors than technology. It was a tribute. This amazing display of reverence for the Warriors icon demonstrates how much Chinese fans like Curry’s style of play. Over the previous ten years, the NBA star has inspired millions of admirers, and the Chinese fan base is undoubtedly one of them.
Stephen Curry’s son, Cannon Curry, displayed his skills at the Curry annual camp
A few years ago, Stephen Curry mentioned vividly that out of all his children, his youngest, Cannon Curry, is ‘sort of an athlete.’ It’s safe to say that this was on full display lately on Curry’s annual camp, mostly because Cannon was spotted displaying his ball-handling skills at the camp, garnering immense attention from the NBA community.

Growing up, Stephen Curry learned a lot about basketball from his father, Dell, a sharpshooter who played for the Charlotte Hornets during his best NBA years. It seems as if Cannon may go down the same path his father did in his teenage days.
