San Siro went berserk as Christian Pulisic lit up the home of the Rossoneri with an Olimpico strike. AC Milan clinched a stunning victory against a spirited Club Brugge. It needed some doing for AC Milan as they were at the receiving end of some serious pump at the start of the game.
After a handful of scrambling saves from Mike Maignan, it was the sheer quality and precision of US striker, Christian Pulisic, that left the world in sheer awe. His brilliant curler left Simon Mignolet stranded to where he was as the crowd erupted in frenzy. To make matters worse for Club Brugge, they were depleted to ten men when Raphael Onyedika was handed over marching orders for taking out Tijjani Reijnders.
Much to the shock of the Rossoneri, they were pegged back by a numerically inferior Club Brugge when Kyriani Sabbe speared a low fizzling strike into the back of the net. With the desperation rising in the camp of AC Milan, Tijjani Reijnders restored the lead for the Italian stalwarts when Noah Okafor, who came on in the second half, carved an excellent minus while the former made no mistake in hitting the target from close range.

Reijnders put the game to bed with a strike in the 71st minute as Samuel Chukwueze drove on the right wing before laying off another stunning delivery, while the former smashed his second. In what could have been a historic fourth from Francesco Camarda, becoming the youngest player to score in Champions League history, a looping header from Camarda caught Mignolet off his position but VAR played spoilsport as the wunderkind was denied his goal.
Francesca Camarda opens up on disallowed goal
Francesco Camarda, who is just 16 years old, came from the youth academy of AC Milan. He has also featured in the youth teams of Italy where he has starred in the likes of U15, U16, U17 and U19. Camarda has played 38 matches in the youth group scoring 23 goals, prompting AC Milan to register him for the senior team. When Camarda found the back of the net, the emotions were absolutely raw, and the youngster was leaping in frenzy.
AC Milan hasn’t been going through the best of times of late. However, two wins on the trot saw them securing a crucial win against Udinese despite being down to ten men, followed by their victory in the Champions League.
With a crucial clash against Napoli loading for the Rossoneri, they will be hopeful of bringing their momentum to this game with a bid to improve their position in the ongoing edition of the Serie A. They have racked up four wins from eight matches, while drawing two, as they remain in the fourth position.
