CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, has been struggling with health issues for some time. She contracted an infection in early 2024 and has been consistently updating her fans on her condition. Recently, the former WWE superstar informed her followers that she will be undergoing surgery to address her health concerns. Despite the challenges, she continues to keep her fans in the loop about her recovery process.
Lana took to X to inform her fans that she would be undergoing surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She shared a few pictures from the hospital, including one with her doctor. Expressing her gratitude, she seemed pleased with the medical care she has been receiving and took a moment to thank the staff for their support.

The 39-year-old has reportedly been going through a difficult period in her life. Fans primarily remember her for her time in WWE, where she played a key role as the manager of her husband, Rusev. She was a pivotal part of his storyline during their time together in the company. Later, she made her AEW debut, managing Andrade for a while before ultimately leaving the promotion.
In addition to being a former professional wrestler, CJ Perry is also an actress and a singer. She frequently shares updates about her life with her fans and supporters. Recently, Lashley reflected on that angle, praising Lana for her contributions during that time.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The All Mighty credited Lana for doing most of the work in the storyline. He praised her for making him feel comfortable throughout their time together. Lashley acknowledged that while the storyline ultimately didn’t succeed, it was a fun experience where they had the opportunity to experiment with their characters.
I can honestly say it was 100% Lana that was able to make me feel comfortable doing it, and then to just try to do things, to really further that whole feud. She was on top of everything.
