Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts displayed a heartwarming act of sportsmanship following his team’s victory over the Green Bay Packers in Brazil. Despite the intense competition, Hurts made a point to check on his injured counterpart, Jordan Love, after the game.
Heading towards the final minutes of the fourth quarter, the Packers were trailing. In an attempt to score and make a comeback, Love suffered a lower leg injury. The 25-year-old was attempting to make a pass when two Eagles defenders took him out. Ultimately, the Packers lost 29-34 to the Eagles.
Love remained on the field after the injury, waiting for medical attention. Albeit, he was seen walking to the locker room after the game, it was with help. The Packers’ fans aren’t happy with the game in Brazil and the field as they might miss their star QB for a significant time. Even LeBron James took to X to share his frustrations about the slippery field.
When the time arrived for celebration, Hurts decided to do something that would be noted by fans for a very long time. The Philly QB, Hurts, walked to Love, dapping him and giving a side hug as a sign of kindness and compassion for the fellow player.

The QB was taken over by backup Malik Willis who joined the team for the last two plays. Willis joined the Packers only two weeks before, from Tennessee Titans.
There seems to be no ACL injury for Jordan Love
According to NFL Network and Athletic, the initial tests conducted on Jordan Love seem to show that the quarterback’s ACL is intact. The Packers will conduct more tests to figure out the right course of action for their QB1.
The Packers’ medical team conducted a Lachman Test to prove the integrity of Love’s ACL Test. The test is normally conducted to immediately identify the extent of damage done pertaining to the cruciate ligament. An ACL tear or any injury would have ruled out the entire season of the quarterback.
After the game in Sao Paolo, the Packers have a ten-hour flight before they arrive in Wisconsin. The team would be able to do more diagnosis on the condition only after that. They don’t have a game until the 15th of September against the Indianapolis Colts, where they will look for their first win.
