Stephen A. Smith does not believe Paul George is a catch-and-shoot guy in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors seem to have a lot going around with their roster in the current NBA offseason. One of the main situations is their legendary shooting guard, Klay Thompson on the verge of leaving the Warriors. However, the Warriors reportedly seem to have already lined up a replacement for the Los Angeles Clippers’ veteran Paul George.
However, Stephen A Smith did not seem to be a big fan of this trade move when his ESPN colleague Brian Windhorst broke the George-to-Warriors news out to him on the “Get-up” show.

I just don't view him as a catch-and-shoot guy, I view him as somebody...that has the potential to disrupt their rhythm.Stephen A. Smith said
However, this take completely puzzled current Clippers star Terance Mann as Geroge is known for his catch-and-shoot game in the NBA. Mann quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to put forward his views on Smith’s unusual take regarding the NBA veteran.
Wait in what world is PG not a catch a shoot player? I’m confusedTerance Mann wrote on X
This was somewhat of a sly jab taken by Mann towards the ESPN TV presenter.
In addition, the nine-time All-Star shot 46.3% in catch-and-shoot scenarios, ranking third amongst players with more than 4.0 catch-and-shoot field goal attempts per game behind Luke Kennard and Kevin Durant, according to NBA.com’s tracking records. This proves that Smith has got it wrong regarding Geroge this time around.
NBA Insider shares important update on Paul George’s future in the NBA
Paul George is currently one of the most talked about NBA stars due to his future with the Los Angeles Clippers looking uncertain as each day passes. Interestingly, NBA insider Brian Windhorst provided an important update regarding George and his next team in the NBA, if he does not sign a contract extension with the Clippers on the “Get-Up” show via ESPN.
He wants a full out max and there are a number of teams out there, I am told, that are prepared to give it to him, who are prepared to trade for him. One of those teams, potentially, is up the coast in Golden State. On the Get-Up show, Brian Windhorst said
George recently shared his goals for the next several years of his career, which include helping his team win basketball. However, in the NBA, money talks, so the two-way star may choose to move if the Warriors are prepared to offer him what the Clippers cannot.
