(Video) Clippers teammate visibly PISSED at James Harden in loss against Phoenix Suns
Los Angeles Clippers star Terance Mann visibly upset with James Harden after he missed him wide open in the corner.
James Harden under pressure after Clippers opener
The Intuit Dome kicks off its first season opener with the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Phoenix Suns. In classic Clipper’s fashion, the $2 billion Inglewood Arena experienced its first setback to the Kevin Durant-led Suns in a nail-biting 116-113 loss in overtime. The game also marked an interesting moment with renewed attention on James Harden.
Controversies seem to follow the LA team even into their new arena as a video surfaced online. In the second quarter, Terance Mann could be seen visibly frustrated with the ball movement. The Clippers guard exasperatingly jumped after Harden missed him for a catch-and-shoot. The following sequence doesn’t help either as Harden immediately went for an ISO and got blocked by Kevin Durant.
The Clipper’s guards seem to brush it off as a small mishap with Harden stuffing up the stat sheet. ‘The Beard’ in a dominant fashion poured in 29 points but fell short of Durant and Bradley Beal’s 49 points outburst. The game ended with Harden committing a turnover in favor of the Suns, resulting in the first loss of the season.

Although the home team’s starters were productive, Mann poured in only 8 points owing to his measly 6 field goal attempt. Mann played over 27 minutes but his lack of involvement in possession can be the issue here. Ball movement will be a huge obstacle moving forward if Coach Ty Lue is thinking of a title for the new arena.
Tyronn Lue Calls out James Harden’s turnover in the 4th Quarter
James Harden was spectacular in the home opener except for the last Clipper’s possessions. The one-time MVP couldn’t maintain a proper hold of the ball costing his team an overtime victory. Ty Lue pointed this out immediately at the post-game pressers and demanded Harden to be the leader until Kawhi Leonard’s return from his knee injury.
The team is also dealing with Leonard’s injury rehab and timetable for his return is still blurry. The Clippers forward has been out of play since his withdrawal from the USA Olympics team. Leonard must return for the Clippers to make any noise out of the West. For the time being, they need to persevere without the two-time champion.
