Next Monday on the one-year anniversary episode of Raw on Netflix, CM Punk will defend his World Heavyweight title against Bron Breakker. Both men got their final words in by virtue of coming face-to-face last night. ‘The Best in the World’ wanted Breakker to talk some trash right in his face and without his Vision stablemates to back him up.

Once Punk was in the ring with Breakker, the latter said he’d gotten tired of being dubbed the future of this company. In fact, the Georgia native affirmed that he’s the present.

The nephew of Scott Steiner also took offense to the champ’s recent prediction of Breakker getting dumped by Paul Heyman, which, as Punk claimed, has been the Wiseman’s MO over the years: to stab his investments in the back when they crumble under the pressure.

‘The Unpredictable Badass’ dared Punk to find anyone else like him from the WWE locker room who’s as committed and passionate about this business as Breakker. The former NXT Champion then disputed the fallacy about Breakker getting into this industry with a silver spoon just because of his lineage.

But, as he said, due to the fact that he came from such a rich wrestling background that produced greats like The Steiner Brothers, Breakker was put under the microscope from the get-go.

The 28-year-old argued that he had to live up to a higher standard than Punk could ever imagine. The Vision member slammed ‘The Second City Saint’ for not putting any respect on his name due to his perception of Breakker not having paid his dues in pro wrestling just because he didn’t grind on the independent circuit.

Breakker told Punk that while the former AEW star was doing it, he, in turn, was sharing the field with someone like the Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. After listening to Breakker’s arguments with a smile on his face, Punk responded by saying he didn’t come out to tell the former Wolfdogs member that he wasn’t ready for the spotlight he’s getting.

Punk, in fact, told Breakker that he was most ready for the top spot out of everyone in The Vision. ‘The Straight Edge Superstar’ startlingly claimed it was him who wasn’t ready. But for what? Punk asserted that he wasn’t ready to stop being the world champion, and while someone will take the title from him someday, it won’t be Breakker. “I’ll see you January 5,” screamed CM Punk before storming off.

Stephanie Vaquer successfully retained her women’s world title on Raw

The first match of the night on this week’s Raw was the triple threat women’s world title showdown where Stephanie Vaquer defended her gold against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez. Having hit the 100-day mark with the championship, Vaquer had already added a little feather to her cap.

However, to put the women’s title on the line against not one but two worthy contenders on the final Raw of 2025 was no child’s play. ‘The Dark Angel’, brushing through every hiccup during the course of that highly dynamic bout, ended up retaining the title.

The closing sequence saw Rodriguez displaying her unreal upper body strength as she lifted both Bella and Vaquer on her shoulders simultaneously.

Even though ‘La Primera’ managed to get out of the predicament, the WWE Hall of Famer bore the brunt of the Tejana Bomb from the Judgment Day member. Vaquer saw the opening, and she maneuvered Rodriguez out of the ring to cover an impotent Bella to get the win. Since Rodriguez didn’t get pinned, she might have one last go at Vaquer and her women’s world title in the weeks to come on Raw.
