CM Punk has been on a roll lately. After a thunderous appearance on Raw, he showed up at the Fanatics Event in NYC as well. During his appearance, he talked about various things. However, the agenda was once again to take down his arch-nemesis, Drew McIntyre. Following the fest, the Best in the World issued a stern warning to the Scottish Warrior.
Taking it to Instagram stories, the Second City Saint posted a picture of the bracelets he received at Fanatics. He expressed gratitude to the fans for giving him such wonderful gifts. However, the Straight Edge Superstar averred that he is planning to get back the ‘original bracelet’ as soon as possible that has the names of AJ Lee and Larry written on it. In fact, he is even planning to shut down the internet troll, referring to Drew McIntyre.
Thanks to all the fans today at @fanaticsfest ! Appreciate the replacement bracelets, but we gonna get the OG one back and slap an internet troll. Appreciate you all!CM Punk via Instagram
This was a straight-up call for a war with the Scot after the events of Raw last week. The Voice of the Voiceless ambushed the former WWE Champion from behind. He went on to give him the beating of his lifetime with a belt, leaving battle scars all over his back.
Moreover, these comments on Punk’s story have generated anticipation for his appearance on Raw. It is going to be interesting to see what the Straight Edge Superstar has on his mind. It is speculated that WWE is planning a Strap Match between the two stars at Bash in Berlin later this month.
CM Punk lashes out at claims of his haters
CM Punk has been a fan favorite throughout his career. However, that doesn’t mean he has been liked by everyone among his peers as well. The Straight Edge Superstar has been involved in a bunch of controversies in his career. In fact, he has been called a ‘cancer’ to professional wrestling by stars like Seth Rollins.
Speaking on the Masked Man Show, the Best in the World addressed this with a stern reply. He said that all these statements are lies spread by people who don’t like him. The Second City Saint added that he is good with the people who are good with him, and he is terrible with terrible people.
That's all bullsh*t. None of that stuff is reality. 'Oh, he's a cancer.' Listen, not everybody gets nice me. I treat you accordingly. If you're a piece of sh*t, and you act that way to me, I will treat you that way. If you're nice, you're smiling, you want to have a good time, let's have a good time.CM Punk via Masked Man Show
Moreover, these controversies eventually became the reason for the departure from AEW. Although there has been a lot of change in his behavior. Only time will tell if Punk is going to prove his haters wrong in this latest chapter of his career.
