As CM Punk nears one year of his return to WWE, good news keeps coming his way. The veteran wrestler is set to be a part of Syfy’s upcoming horror series Revival, per Variety. He’s roped in for a recurring role. The Raw Superstar will join cast members Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David Elliott, and Andy McQueen. The outlet hasn’t been notified about the specifics of Punk’s role.

The Syfy-exclusive project began filming back in September in New Brunswick, Canada. It’s expected to last till December 2024. What it might entail is that CM Punk may have to juggle between his acting gig and his looming WWE return. However, it doesn’t seem like he’d be on the sidelines for long. The 46-year-old will be a regular feature of the red brand once it moves to Netflix

Since being signed by general manager Adam Pearce last December, The Best in the World has remained exclusive to Raw. In the meantime, he even tore his triceps and was on the shelf for almost six months. After recovering, Punk took his beef with Drew McIntyre, the man who injured him in the first place, to the next level.

These men had a trilogy of matches, stemming from deep-rooted aversion for each other. In the end, it was Punk who pipped Drew. At October’s Bad Blood PLE, they bled like there’s no tomorrow. The Scot was busted open so badly that he went on to receive 16 stitches to his forehead.

While there’s no update on McIntyre, Punk is reportedly scheduled for Survivor Series on November 30. But in what shape and form? It’s yet to be disclosed. Punk, at one point, was pegged for a world title showdown with Gunther at the aforementioned PLE, but those plans got nixed.

Speaking to Peter Rosenberg at the ComplexCon, Punk mentioned one with Roman Reigns, adding that the table is set for him and Cody Rhodes too. The Second City Saint hinted at a potential feud with The Rock before reasserting that he’d love to hang in there with John Cena.

However, Punk said he’d not force anything. Even though the fans are clamoring it, Punk added that he’d let Cena do his own thing because he’s earned it. In other news, Bronson Reed lashed out at the Chicagoan for not including him in that elusive list.
