CM Punk made an unexpected appearance on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The 45-year-old has been involved in an exciting feud with Drew McIntyre over the past few months. Their rivalry continued this week with a cat-and-mouse chase where he hilariously trolled The Scottish Warrior.

Drew McIntyre made his way up the arena to hunt down the Best in the World in his skybox. However, the 38-year-old only found a picture of the Second City Saint with his autograph. Meanwhile, the audience erupted as ‘Cult of Personality’ played in the arena. Punk came out from the main stage to cut a promo.

The segment began with the recently re-signed Superstar coming out to cut a promo after being drafted to Monday Night Raw. He was frustrated with how Punk, who had only wrestled one match and was currently injured, was drafted before him.

Furthermore, the Scot claimed that the Voice of the Voiceless had injured him. The former AEW star’s attack at WrestleMania XL and the cash-in caused him to hurt his elbow. The 45-year-old had heard enough and appeared in the skybox to interrupt The Chosen One. He further enticed the former World Heavyweight Champion to approach him in the skybox. Unfortunately, the chase did not end well for McIntyre.

CM Punk provides an injury update on an untelevised segment after SmackDown

CM Punk came out to address the live audience in Cincinnati, Ohio, after the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air. During the promo, the Best in the World was noticeably not wearing a brace on his injured arm. Further, he gave an update regarding his triceps injury.

The former WWE Champion said that his triceps were not fully healed yet. However, he was on track for an in-ring return. Furthermore, he promised the WWE Universe he would be back soon to compete with the rest of the locker room.

I want to give a little update — my tricep is not a hundred percent, yet. But I am on track and I promise, soon, I will be back and competing with all the tough badasses backstage.

Additionally, the Chicago native also advocated for former Cincinnati Reds baseball player Pete Rose to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, a player banned by the MLB for admitting to betting on the game. Rose is already a member of the WWE Hall of Fame after being inducted into the celebrity wing in 2004.
