I feel like I have to deliver a classic. And I have to stay true to myself, my beliefs of what good wrestling is, and that cell that I feel like as a company we’ve gotten away from for so long. Where it just became a toy.

The Straight Edge Superstar promised it was going to regain its reputation as the most dangerous structure at Bad Blood. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that for the first time in years there is a story that compliments Hell in a Cell. He added that the two stars hate each other to another extent, which makes this feud look even more real. Besides, both of them have been doing the best work of their careers, which appropriately justifies going through hell.

I think so. I think so. I think this is the closest we’ve been in quite some time, where it’s like a heated rivalry, where the guys hate each other. It’s not just an angle. Drew McIntyre is really doing some of his best work, as far as really leaning into the realism of the story of CM Punk, per se. So I think having in a Hell in a Cell match is going to be totally fitting. How they bring it is going to be something totally different.
