CM Punk and Randy Orton made their returns to WWE on the same day at Survivor Series: WarGames last year. Although many wrestlers expressed their dislike towards The Best in the World, the relationship he shares with Orton is amazing. A recent picture of The Legend Killer with his wife showed how comfortable both superstars are with each other.

WWE shared some pictures from the week featuring several superstars on their Instagram handle. One of those pictures featured Randy Orton with his wife, Kim Orton, along with a surprise appearance from CM Punk. The Viper also posted the picture on social media, captioning it “#PhotobombPhil.” The 45-year-old veteran shared the picture on his Instagram stories but added a smiley face with a heart emoji.

Recently, the two legends sat together and watched their match at WrestleMania 27, sharing some incidents they faced backstage. The Apex Predator emerged victorious, concluding a very entertaining feud with Punk and Nexus. Speaking about their returns at Survivor Series: WarGames, Orton said that although one return overshadowed the other, he was happy that they both received great reactions.

After failing to capture the United States title at WrestleMania XL, the 14-time world champion shifted his focus towards the King of the Ring tournament. He defeated AJ Styles and Carmelo Hayes in the first and second rounds, respectively, and will now battle Tama Tonga in the semifinals of the tournament. Meanwhile, Punk is still recovering from the torn triceps he suffered in the Royal Rumble match, thanks to Drew McIntyre.

The rivalry between McIntyre and Punk is one of the best things going on in WWE right now. However, the interesting thing about this rivalry is that neither of them can compete due to injuries. While the 45-year-old star is recovering from torn triceps, the Scottish Warrior is out of action due to an injury he suffered at WrestleMania 40.

The former WWE Champion shared a message on social media saying that his character was now available to play in the WWE 2K24 game. Along with this announcement, Punk also took a shot at McIntyre, saying that now McIntyre would finally be able to play with his favorite character: him. Surprisingly, the Scottish Warrior accepted the request to play as CM Punk but suffered an injury while performing a move in the game.

McIntyre took the opportunity to once again troll the Second City Saint, noting that he already got injured after being cleared to compete just a day earlier. Both superstars have managed to keep fans engaged with constant arguments on social media. It will be interesting to see what happens once these two heavyweights are cleared to fight in the ring.
