CM Punk was a part of the Backlash pre-show panel alongside Jackie Redmond and Big E. After having a successful showing off, an unexpected turn of events changed the flow of the air for the Best in the World. While changing his suit, the Second City Saint was locked inside the bathroom at the WWE Headquarters.

The Voice of the Voiceless updated his fans through a number of Instagram stories. He mentioned that he was stuck in the bathroom for a while. It also led him to miss his flight and have an impromptu gym day at WWE HQ in Stamford.

The former WWE Champion posted a series of videos, hoping that anyone from WWE HQ doesn’t see this video. CM Punk also revealed that he was on to creating some chaos in the Titan Towers of WWE. Furthermore, he missed Backlash in France and filmed his appearance for the show from the HQ.

It was quite a fun experience for the Best in the World, as he looked energetic throughout the video. Moreover, he praised his looks during the pre-show in these clips. Punk showcased posters of NXT Superstars like Roxanne Perez and Trick Williams at WWE HQ. In fact, he had quite a bit of fun with Andre the Giant‘s statue in Stamford.

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are involved in a heated feud. With so much bad blood between the two, they rarely miss a chance at taking a jab at each other. As such, the Best in the World took a subtle shot at the Scottish Warrior during the Backlash pre-show that made the rounds on the internet.

The Second City Saint was talking about Cody Rhodes‘ title reign. In order to put some salt on the wounds of McIntyre, he said that Rhodes’ reign has already surpassed the 5-minute, 46-second mark, which was an accomplishment in its own right. It was a dig at the loss of the Scottish born at WrestleMania XL.

It was another remark by the Second City Saint after the events on last week’s Raw. Tensions between the two are at an all-time high, which makes fans wonder what’s next for the two stars in the future.
