CM Punk got injured during the 2024 Royal Rumble and, unfortunately, has been out since then. Even though he has been injured, The Best in the World continues to find ways to continue his rivalry with Drew McIntyre, who injured him. Finally, after nearly four months, the veteran shared a glimpse of good news with the fans on social media.

The Best in the World took to Instagram and provided an update to the WWE Universe that he had already started working out. In the video clip, CM Punk performed crunches while alternating sides of the mat with each touch. He tore his triceps during the 2024 Royal Rumble match, thanks to Drew McIntyre‘s Future Shock DDT.

Speaking of McIntyre, the rivalry between the two has been one of the hottest things in WWE since the beginning of the year. Both of them have thwarted each other on various occasions, with The Scottish Warrior preventing Punk from being in the main event of WrestleMania XL. Meanwhile, The Second City Saint cost his arch-nemesis the world title, as Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract at WrestleMania,

The former WWE Champion has earned another shot against Priest at Clash at the Castle in front of his home crowd. Many fans would love to see him live his dream of winning the world title in front of a jam-packed crowd. However, they won’t be surprised if Punk comes out of nowhere to once again cost McIntyre a world title.

Drew McIntyre reacted to CM Punk’s training video amidst injury

While the WWE Universe was happy and excited when they saw CM Punk’s training video, his rival Drew McIntyre’s reaction was different. He expressed exactly how he felt about the training video that The Second City Saint shared on social media.

The Scottish Warrior took to social media and replied to the video of Punk’s workout, simply laughing about it. Fans interpreted it as one of McIntyre’s ways of mocking the 45-year-old veteran. Interestingly, Drew himself is recovering from an injury he suffered against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL.

He will wrestle against Sheamus in a dark match on the June 14 episode of SmackDown in Scotland. Although Punk and McIntyre aren’t yet physically involved in this feud, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top when both are fit to fight.
