CM Punk undergoes another health treatment following recent triceps surgery
The Best in the World is ready to put in the work needed to hang in with the younger talent. He seems to be on the right track.

CM Punk has just come out of his torn triceps. It took him six months to surgically repair the affected area. After that, he made his in-ring return at SummerSlam. In his first singles WWE match since 2013, The Chicagoan went down against Drew McIntyre. Thankfully, the veteran superstar was unscathed and didn’t pick up any injuries. However, he would’ve been banged up considering he’s now 45.
And it seems like Punk has undergone stem cell therapy. After this week’s Raw, The Best in the World visited Ways2Well for the treatment. For the unversed, the stem cell therapy catalyzes the recovery of incisions and wounds. Tons of wrestlers avail themselves of its benefits, and CM Punk‘s no exception. The fans would hope he stays at his physical best for long. He has already missed a significant amount of time since his return at Survivor Series: WarGames.
But for now, things are going the way Punk wants. This Monday on Raw, he outsmarted Drew McIntyre by keeping him in the dark about his whereabouts. Drew was told by General Manager Adam Pearce that the former AEW star was facing travel issues to the arena in Austin. And apparently, the Scot would’ve thought that Punk wouldn’t even make it to the show.
However, McIntyre was caught off guard when The Second City Saint unloaded on him, shortly after he’d interrupted Randy Orton and Gunther. The real-life Phil Brooks resorted to belt treatment on Drew. The beatdown was so heinous that it left welts on McIntyre’s back. One would now expect The Scottish Warrior to retaliate. Moreover, Punk would himself be aware of the imminent repercussions that’s about to come his way. Things are heating up as they should.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre set for a clash in Berlin
With the kind of whiplashing Drew McIntyre succumbed to on Raw, what’s the follow-up? Reports suggest WWE is planning a strap match between the Ayr-born wrestler and CM Punk at Bash in Berlin later this month. In their previous meeting at SummerSlam, the self-proclaimed DM Hunk did well to tame the menace of The Best in the World.
Punk took his eye off the bullet when he began trash talking with special guest referee Seth Rollins. And it cost him dearly. Drew was already measuring Punk, who ate a Claymore Kick and ended up losing. In their upcoming bout, both men would go at each other with all guns blazing.
Where on one hand, The Chosen One might be hellbent on trouncing The Straight Edge Superstar; the latter would be keen on getting himself on the board. If Punk wins, he’d be tied at 1-1 with Drew. It may then boil down to the decider, which is rumored to be a Hell in a Cell match.
