CM Punk kicked off the second-ever Raw episode on Netflix. Riding high from his win over Seth Rollins last week, Punk made his intentions clear, declaring for the Royal Rumble match. Before he could leave the ring, however, Rollins’ music hit. Punk, in his hilarious way, didn’t hesitate to hide his feelings toward The Visionary. After looking disgruntled, Punk went near the ropes and fell on his knees.

During Rollins’ entrance, The Second City Saint, presumably taking to commentary, questioned why it wasn’t Rhea Ripley interrupting him every time. This added to a collection of Punk’s reactions to Rollins intervening on his promos since his return to WWE. The most notable reaction came when The Architect interrupted Punk in the latter’s hometown. More importantly, it signifies the grudge the former AEW star holds for Rollins.

Speaking of their rivalry, it seems far from over for now. Seth Rollins announced he would also enter the Royal Rumble match and vowed to crush Punk’s dreams by eliminating him. This prompted Drew McIntyre to come out and berate both of his archrivals. The Scottish Warrior had a different objective in mind: to destroy the OG Bloodline one by one.

To accomplish his mission, McIntyre confirmed his participation in the Royal Rumble match as well. Meanwhile, CM Punk will look to achieve career firsts this year, winning the 30-man match and going on to main event WrestleMania. However, the trio will be facing tough competition as there is already a stacked field announced for the titular bout.

Who will CM Punk face at WrestleMania 41?

While CM Punk made his intentions loud and clear on Raw, it will be a difficult path for him to the main event of WrestleMania. Winning the Royal Rumble isn’t a piece of cake. However, ruling out The Second City Saint’s chances would be preposterous.

Keeping that in mind, WWE has reportedly planned Punk’s match for the Showcase of Immortals. The Straight Edge Superstar is seemingly set to face Roman Reigns in Las Vegas. Whether or not this will be for a world title is yet to be seen.

Interestingly, Reigns has also declared for the Royal Rumble match. The OTC will be entering the 30-man bout for the first time since 2020. As such, the build to the reported match could kickstart in the match itself. Nevertheless, only time will tell if the two interact during the Rumble inside the ring.
