CM Punk is widely regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers on the microphone. His storytelling, manner of cutting promos, and even insults are something that rarely anyone can match. After the latest episode of Raw, the Voice of the Voiceless once again got people talking about him on the microphone.
Punk made his entrance on the latest episode of Raw with some exciting news. He came out with a strap around his neck and got on the microphone. He started appealing to the hometown crowd like he usually does but eventually moved on to more serious matters.
CM Punk claimed that the fans gave him the drive to do what he did. These fans take the time to make and gift him bracelets. His infamous bracelet with his wife and dog’s name was also gifted to him by a fan. The Best in the World admitted that while this may seem like a very ‘Taylor Swift thing’ to do, he was “Taylor Swift for men.”
Punk claimed that Drew McIntyre was so obsessed with him that he was roaming around wearing a bracelet with the 45-year-old’s wife’s name on it. Now, the former AEW star claimed to have made a bracelet for his arch-rival.
The former AEW Champion took the strap off his neck and claimed to have already talked to Raw GM Adam Pearce. Unless Drew McIntyre was too chicken to do so, they were going to be having a strap match at Bash in Berlin. He wanted to leave lasting scars on his opponent and wanted to ensure that he would never forget about him.
WWE Universe can’t stop laughing after CM Punk’s hilarious comparison of himself to Taylor Swift
The WWE Universe was taken aback after hearing CM Punk compare himself to Taylor Swift. Fans were amazed how the former WWE Champion pulled off such an unserious joke in a highly serious promo about his blood feud with Drew McIntyre. The juxtaposition of this joke and his wish to leave scars on his opponent’s body somehow fit in perfectly into the very same promo.
Fans could not wait to see these two putting on another incredible match in a different environment. Punk brutalized McIntyre on last week’s episode of Raw with a belt, leaving grotesque scars on his body. The two superstars had definitely earned the addition of this extreme yet fitting stipulation to their rematch.
Many fans started to jokingly call themselves “Punkies.” The 2x Money in the Bank winner was a true entertainer in the industry. Furthermore, he knows exactly what would catch the fans’ attention and get them talking about him on social media.
