Coco Gauff made headlines recently with her appearance at the Oscars. The 2023 US Open champion looked stunning in a yellow outfit. Even with all the glamour, Gauff made it clear that she feels more at home on the tennis courts.
At the event, Gauff reunited with Serena Williams. The world No. 3 was one of the big names on the red carpet at Hollywood’s biggest night. Her presence added to the star power of the evening.
It was very complicated. Hair, makeup, everything… I play tennis so I’m not used to this glamour, but it’s nice to dress up for the day.

Despite her time in the spotlight, the focus quickly shifted to the award winners. The film Anora was the biggest winner of the night, taking home five awards. The movie’s success was a major highlight of the ceremony.

Coco Gauff locked in for Indian Wells glory
American tennis star Coco Gauff is leading the pack of U.S. players at the 2025 Indian Wells Open. The American narrowly missed the finals in 2024 and is determined to make a strong comeback this year. She is one of six American women seeded for the tournament, along with Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Emma Navarro, Danielle Collins, and Amanda Anisimova.

Aryna Sabalenka, the world number one, is the top seed at Indian Wells. She has held this spot firmly since last October. Despite her ranking, Sabalenka faces a tough path to the title. She might have to get past Madison Keys in the quarter-finals, Gauff in the semi-finals, and Iga Swiatek in the final.
Swiatek is the defending champion at Indian Wells. She won last year by defeating Maria Sakkari in the final, just as she did in 2022. Swiatek will enter the tournament with confidence as the second seed.
Madison Keys is making her comeback at Indian Wells after a hamstring injury. She has not played since winning her first Grand Slam at the Australian Open. Despite her time away from the court, Keys has climbed to a career-high fifth place in the WTA Rankings.
