She posted a video on Instagram in which was being interviewed on a tennis training court. The World No. 3 was praising Little Simz for her song ‘Mood Swing’ before the British rapper made a surprise appearance. Gauff was so excited that she let out a scream and hugged her.

Coco Gauff determined to reset and find consistency before the US Open after early exit at the Cincinnati Open
Coco Gauff has admitted that she will reset and work on her consistency following her second-round exit at the Cincinnati Open. The American arrived at the tournament as the defending champion but failed to win her opening match, losing to Yulia Putintseva 4-6, 6-2, 4-6. It was her second consecutive loss in August.
She has won only one match since the Paris Olympics and that came in the second round of the Canadian Open. The World No. 3 has only one title to her name this year and has struggled to perform consistently. She is hoping to change that before the US Open.
I feel like I have to work on consistency, overall… [I will] probably go home and try to reset… Obviously, I have a lot coming up soon with the US Open, so I think just trying to reset and be ready for that.Coco Gauff said (via Spotskeeda)
Gauff is the US Open defending champion and the youngest winner since Serena Williams in 1999. The draw of the Grand Slam will take place on Thursday, August 22, with the main draw matches beginning on August 26.
