This week’s SmackDown kicked off with a hot all-out brawl. Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline arrived at the arena to seemingly take part in the advertised “Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony.” However, before they could even reach the ring, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton attacked the trio. An all-out brawl followed as the former World Champions fended off the faction.

SmackDown GM Nick Aldis had to bring out security to separate the two sides. Despite that, Owens, Orton, and Rhodes cleared the house and proceeded to send a bold message to The Bloodline. The Viper claimed that he planned to put the stable away for good, pointing out how they were responsible for putting him on the shelf for 18 months. Meanwhile, The American Nightmare brutally insulted Sikoa by calling him a “seat filler.”

Moments later, Aldis brought out local police officers to escort the trio out of the arena. After what transpired on last week’s SmackDown, this was bound to happen. Jacob Fatu‘s debut sent shockwaves around the wrestling world as the Samoan Werewolf single-handedly laid out the three top stars. However, the newest member of The Bloodline was notably absent in the opening segment.

Solo Sikoa informed Paul Heyman that he hadn’t brought Fatu to the taping, alluding to how dangerous he could be. Moreover, The Enforcer revealed that the ceremony would be to ‘acknowledge’ Heyman as his Wiseman. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how things unfold when the two sides come across the ring at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE.

Randy Orton had an interesting reaction to Cody Rhodes’ promo on SmackDown

While Cody Rhodes berated The Tribal Heir, he emphasized that he could’ve been defending his Undisputed WWE Championship instead. When The American Nightmare said that, Randy Orton shot up a stern look at the champion.

Although they have a common enemy in The Bloodline, The Viper won’t miss out on a chance to claim the title. Especially after he lost a golden opportunity to become the King of the Ring. With that said, WWE will continue to plant the seeds for an eventual rivalry between the pair.

In fact, this isn’t the first time that something similar has occurred. At Clash at the Castle, Orton stared down the championship on Rhodes’ shoulder after saving him from The Bloodline. Only time will tell when the former Legacy members will battle it out in the ring.
